Daylight savings time in the UK is a joke!

The fact and it IS a fact that this stupid meddling with the clocks cost lives, yet we still do this stupid outdated practice.

WHY?

To make the morning a little brighter earlier?

That's bloody stupid if it is at the expense of lives in the evenings.

It is about time we said no more, leave it alone tonight and then move the clocks forward again in the spring to have a BST of two hours ahead of GMT like they do in north Europe.

If that simple move saves a life it is justified, the fact it could save 100's of lives EVERY year is saying something.

If the "so called powers that be" are not in agreement then they should clearly state WHY not, why they are prepared to allow 100's of lives to be put at risk...again.

Agreed?
